What's the best cordless drill for DIY and home improvement projects?

hello everybody today's to news and tools is brought to you by this question I get asked from time to time which is if I'm going to buy one cordless drill for DIY work or weekend stuffer do it stuff around the house what's the one kind to buy what's the best kind is usually the way that question goes and the answer is there's no one best kind typically sure you can quantify some stuff that finish feel power and so on but by and large what I answer is if I'm only going to have one tool and I have a million of them I usually run impact drivers but one tool for drilling and driving it is a cordless drill hammer drill like this one the reason is essentially you'll use it and you'll use both functions eventually the hammer drill function which I'm about to show you here on this metal plate you will plate really that I'm fastening to this basement for is that I'll click over to the hammer drill function bump it up to high speed and I'll be able to drill this hole in the concrete and drive the screw with the same tool so quick tip I use scratch off all kind of different stuff and because I don't want this this thing to move around and give it a little tap yes I know some of you woodworkers are having a nervous breakdown right now but that's carpentry stuff here I've got this ready to go now I'm gonna let the tool do the work and drill the hole for me ah you know you may see little puffs of smoke coming out of here it's dust coming up the flutes of the bit so let the tool do the work and that thing is probably going to be hot then put your bit and the singing to it clicker down to low speed high torque over to fasten then I'm going to put in one of my favorite types of screws this is spats multi-material screw and I'm going to send her home no fuss no muss job done one tool I'll see you on the next go-around
