Hi, welcome back to the Roomstyler tutorials.
In this series we will create the home design that you are looking at right now. And this is the room in top view. We are reconstructing this room step by step
in several lessons so you’ll get a good idea on how to use
the roomstyler tool. So, in the previous video we made the basic
room layout. Let’s now select the green button to take
a 3D photo. And you’ll get a popup menu where you can
set the lighting brightness I’ll just leave it to normal
And also you can choose whether to make the room private or public.
I’ll make it public and actually I’ll also share the link with you
so you can play around with the room if you want and let’s just save our room now And then you get another popup menu
with a link to view the room page where the render of the room through the camera
is displayed. And here you can see who made the design and
when; you can give the room a like;
here’s the room name; then there are some sharing options;
here’s another option to make it private; and in the corner you have several options:
you can download the image; here you can go and edit the room;
delete it; and these are the paid options: with credits you can create an HD render a 4K render
or a panorama image. So let’s just edit this room
and in this lesson we are just adding some windows
and a view to the outside. First of all I want to have some french doors
on this wall. Click the build icon
and choose the doors tab. In the bottom you find the glazed panel door
and I’m using that as a door to the outside. Click and drag it and place it on top of a
wall and release.
Okay, that’s one door. And now I want to duplicate it and place it
next to the other one and change the hinge side.
If we take a look at the preview you’ll see that we have two doors on this
wall. Now, let’s go for some windows.
Click the build icon again; the windows tab.
And I’m going to place the first window Just click drag and drop it, just like the
doors, on top of a wall, and release.
If you click the window, you can set the height. I’m setting this to 1.5 meters,
the width is okay and below here you can set the distance from
the ground. I want that on 70 cm.
And now I will duplicate it and drag it into position
And now I want another window so I duplicate again
and drag it to this position. Let’s save our changes.
You’ll find the save options here. I want to save it under a different name so
I use ‘Save as’ and I name it ‘Part 2’
And if we navigate to the room page again, you’ll see that it isn’t rendered at this
moment, but let’s refresh. Yeah, that’s our render. Great! The room looks much brighter now,
but you can’t really see anything on the outside.
So let’s go on and add a view. Up here in the corner under your avatar,
you can find the Dashboard. In your dashboard you can search all your
rooms but also your photos. I have a profile photo added,
I uploaded a shrub and a scenery of a bulb field.
I’m gonna use this in my room. So I’m navigating back to my room,
Part 2; I click edit, and to add your photo as a scenery,
click the fourth icon in the sidebar and select the photos tab.
Then simply click and drag the bulb-field image
and while you do that, you see two icons appear on the right.
Release it on the apply scenery icon and then we’ll take another 3D photo
and go back to our room page. Let’s reload…
and there we have a scenery! Okay, that was part 2.
Please sign up for this playlist for the next lessons
and thanks for watching and by the way, if you want to play around
with this room, I’ll share the link right now.
