Thanks for the video… I really hope it’s as easy as you made it look. My project started out deep cleaning the master bath floor to reseal the grout since I haven’t done that in the 14 years of floor being down… I recently learned that this step of maintenance is important. I have a few areas of cracked grout (probably 4 square section of 12×12 tiles) I removed cracked grout completely. There are a few small areas of grout that are slightly off color from the rest of grouted floor – same exact grout, as I have the bag the builder left and even after A LOT of scrubbing, stemming and thoroughly drying for several days those few darker grout lines are still there. Do I have to remove the off color but not cracked grout in those places or can I put a thin layer of grout over the top of existing grout when I repair the cracked areas? It looks like you blended the grout out & around from the repaired area lightly going over existing grout around the tiles next to the grout line that was removed and filled back in. Is it ok to go over some of the existing grout that is not damaged but discolored without fully removing? I want to have same Color grout before sealing it. Any input much appreciated. Thanks

Normally when grout cracks, it is because the tile has inadequate mortar support underneath. This allows the tile to flex up and down when you step on it, thus cracking the grout. This video could be better, it you show how to force more mortar under the weak tile. Because this new grout job will crack in a short period if you don't fix the underlying problem.
