PING G410 IRONS REVIEW

either you join me at white clothes Golf Club where today I've been testing the new pang G 410 irons now these are replacing incredibly Papaji 400s and Peng si can expect more speeds and more forgiveness and a more aesthetically pleasing package now in this photo I'll run through the technology that's gone into these errands I'll show some numbers up on the screen that I got with my skytrak earlier on today I compared the G 410 with the G 400 so we'll see where the improvements are and also tell you have I gone on the golf course and let you know why I think these are perhaps the best game improvement irons on the market today first off though before we dive into that technology if you're new to our YouTube channel please hit subscribe button below give us a thumbs up if you enjoy this video and if you have any questions just leave them in the comments and I'll answer them for you so the technology that covers these irons first off let's discuss the speed and power on offer with these irons now as I don't know game improvement clubs you expect plenty of distance and thankfully g4 teams do not disappoint no pain completely designed the face and cavity structure these clubs to deliver more speed we've got faster more flexible face to the lever added ball speed and that's per by pangs next-generation Corti technology which push the ball speed and also gives you consistent ball speeds across the heading area it's also prayer by a deep talk wheel on the cart and all of this means that you're gonna get more speed more Destin's it's gonna be easier to get the ball from there and as a result you should be heading shorter irons and thinking something we're all looking to do now the redesigning of the face and cavity structure means that there was a lot of weight saved and those weight savings have been relocated and the tool and hosel of these clubs now what that means as the my is up by about 8% over the incredibly forgiving pengie 400 so these are super forgiving irons that are going to be super easy to have so even though we've get more forgiveness we have a more compact head shape that's one of the big things with these urns game improvement irons these days a lot of people are leaning more towards a more traditional slightly smaller shape and Peng are going down that route so we have 10% less offset slightly shorter blade length and just a cleaner crisper more compact appearance it's gonna suit the eye of a lot of you out there you're gonna like the fact that they still retained that easy to hit look but there are we bit more compact and we bit more appealing when sat down behind the ball adding to the overall appeal as pangs hide repel to point or furnish which I think looks really smart and it's also going to help with your tough interaction and also we have a cool molded aluminium an elastomer badge here that's going to help with the sound and feel of these irons so that's all the technology but how does it performed so let's look at the numbers ago I was comparing the G 410 with the G 400 first off we'll get started with the G 400 now tested both 7-iron heads and both and the stock Steph shafts it's also worth noting they have the same specs both ends of the same length and both have 30 degrees of loft so let's look at the ball speed are averaging 122 miles an hour launching just under 18 degrees and spending just under 5,000 rpm so plenty of speed on offer for a 7-iron thanks higher launch despite the fact that 30 TVs offer launching close to 18 degrees that's really quite high and then the spend render bet world expect to see it for an iron with Eska know often something in this category well that there means is 181 yards average carry and one named the average tortoise with plenty of distance on offer but the thing I take away with the G 400 is just how easy is to get up in there sooo easy to launch up on this guy you can see the peak height at 31 yards these things have such a towering ball flight really easy to stop in the greens and just so easy to hit so really fantastic performance all rounds from one of the best game improvement irons over the last few years now onto the G 410 you see my balls peak creep up slight it's 123 miles an hour my launch angle also jump up a little bit to 18.3 duties and the spend remain roughly the same so I'm getting a little bit more speed banks that faster more flexible face and that's also helping to launch the ball that's a bit higher along with the improve to my so that improves see geolocation just giving me a lot about more launch which means the peak height is also up by a yard so flying slightly higher what are their means in terms of distance has were up three yards to the 184 yards on average and the total distance is up to one main sex so I'm getting three yards of added carry with the G 410 so a lot about more distance in terms of the differences not too much there there are definite improvements for the G 410 but there's not a massive jump you're gonna get some more speeds and it's also gonna launch the ball at about higher so in terms of performance delivering everything I would want you know from a game to an iron good ball speeds thanks higher launched really easy to get off in the air and solid estin so in terms of the numbers the G 410 as a performing the G 400 but not by a massive amount now so in the golf course where the G 410 really starts to get its nose in front of the G 400 first off I need to discuss the looks the slightly shorter blade length the more compact appearance I'm significantly less offset means that sound sets so much better than behind the ball than the g4 hundreds I also think this is one of the best looking game improvement irons on the market now it's by no means the sleekest or most compact but I think it has a real sweet spot of giving you a nice clean fairly aesthetically pleasing appearance but with a real confidence-inspiring look I thought this is a game improving hone this is for people who are wanting about help with that iron shots and when you place this down behind the ball you're going to really feel as though you can have a go down shot you're gonna get a lot of help but the same time it's not massively chunky and it's got fairly clean fairly nice appearance without hydro peril to point or finish and I just think it feigns that sweet spot really well so one of the best looking game improvement irons on the market for me next onto the speed no you may find the nation a few yards with these irons but I'd be hard-pressed to say I was finding any extra Destin's as the number sure there was a lot about more speed there I was launching the ball at about higher and so you you may end up getting a few actually yards with these irons but that wasn't the big thing for me the big thing was the level of forgiveness on offer now the mo AI is up by 8% well that means as that on your message should get so much help regardless of where you had out the hero the tool higher law these irons retain the speeds retain the launch and retain a cure seem really well if you're looking for maximum help out in the golf course then these are irons are going to have to check out they're so easy to launch enter this guy and as I say just saw confidence-inspiring to look at and then once you hit them if you do quite catch the way you're going you're going to get that forgiveness you're not going to be punished because it's such a forgiving Golf Club so all in all I would say the gene for teens are a good improvement over the bow in G for hundreds you're gonna get more forgiveness you're gonna launch the ball into the sky no problem whatsoever are going to get really good distance really good speeds and you've got that crisper cleaner profile was just gonna look better don't behind the ball and also what can we bet nicer in the bag as well so for me a good improvement over the G 400s and if you're in the market for a game improvement iron then the G 410 is something you're going to have to check out for yourself now if you have any questions about the g4 ten items just leave them in the comments and I'll answer them Love the look of these, and it appears the Ping G410 line up ticks all of the boxes if I want to have a one Manufacturer line up. It’s just hard to get rid of my Mizuno JPX 900 HM irons. Great review.

Great review! I love the enhanced profile of the G410's over the G400, and it doesn't hurt that they launch a bit higher and are a touch longer.
