Well Brynie. You asked to see how easy it
is to create a nice artwork of your own. Well, I’m about to show you. And you will find it’s
very, very, simple. Now today, I’m gonna be creating an artwork on a 2m by 1m canvas,
which is an Artworks canvas. Now, Brynie is gonna be using a smaller canvas, which is
1m by 1.2m. The reason I’m using a large canvas, is to let people realise you do not have to
be afraid to buy the size canvas which will suit your home. Because this process is just
as easy on a large canvas, as a small. All you’re doing is simply spreading the paint
across the canvas.>>BRYNIE: ANd you can also use any sort of
paint that you’ve got lying around at home.>>GLENN: Yeah. Any paint you like as long
as it’s an acrylic paint. What we need, is something to spread the paint. Now, all I’m
using here, this is ordinary lino floor tiles, which I have just cut. You can use a Perspex.
Anything you like. I wouldn’t use cardboard.>>BRYNIE: You go first.>>GLENN: Like that. Nice big splops. Like
that.>>BRYNIE: It’s a bit of freedom here.>>GLENN: Very much so.>>BRYNIE: My first time.>>GLENN: Not bad is it, eh?>>BRYNIE: Yep.>>GLENN: Yeah. It’s amazing what you can
do when you know the step-by-step process.>>BRYNIE: Absolutely.>>GLENN: I like to show a few little secrets
here, that you mightn’t realise would happen, unless you were to create something like that.
There you go. I hope anyone at home can create the same design. Whatever colour you like.
It’s up to you. [music]
