How To Set Up Fan Control & System Lighting in CORSAIR iCUE

How To Set Up Fan Control & System Lighting in CORSAIR iCUE

iCUE features direct controls or your
systems fans and lighting making it easy to set up your system to run as cool and quiet
as you want To configure your fan profiles, simply click
on the tile for your Hydro Series cooler or Commander Pro device in the iCUE main window Navigate to the performance tab and you’ll notice a number of preset cooling modes. You can assign a cooling mode to a device
such as a fan or pump by clicking on the cooling mode and then clicking on the device in the
preview window You can create a custom cooling mode by clicking
the plus button. The cooling mode can be tweaked using the
settings in the edit panel. Allowing you to assign a cooling mode to a
specific temperature sensor and apply a fixed RPM, fixed percentage, or a custom curve to
really dial in how you want your device to behave If you have a device such as a Commander Pro
or a Lighting Node Pro, you’ll then be able to set up system lighting by opening the lighting
setup section. The lighting setup section allows you to assign
the type of device and number of devices on each LED lighting channel. Once you’ve setup your LED lighting channels,
you’ll be able to configure lighting for your fans and RGB LED lighting strips. As with other iCUE compatible devices, you
can create new layers and assign preset and custom lighting effects to individual LEDs And that’s it! iCUE allows for a greater degree of control
over your system fans and lighting then ever before. For more information on iCUE, be sure to check
out more of our tutorial videos, or visit our website at www.corsiar.com/icue. Thanks for watching!

I have 6 fans and 4 led strips connected to the lighting node and the commander pro. When I started using this new iCUE software, it basically eliminated all of my LED lighting. It recognized the LL series fans automatically and those work. But it doesnt recognize the 4 led strips which are all connected to each other and connected to one hub. So when I turn on a lighting profile for them in the software, it recognizes them, but then my LL fans start flipping the fuck out and start having this erratic strobing and blinking. Can find absolutely no way to get both the fans the the strips to work like normal like they did before.

I bought this and I'm just curious how to save my lighting so it stops going into demo mode? It literally keeps what I choose for 20 seconds then back to rainbow mode

Bought LL120s and commander pro. Occasionally they flicker upon startup. Many others have this issue and would like support on a permanent fix, thanks.

Can you not control your fans individually anymore? anytime i try to set my fans to different colors it just copies the effect to all fans and I don't want that.

Some people don't know that you "HAVE" to set up PROFILE for each device, in order to control it, this also solves fans going up and down on the own, manually set you fan curves and give it a profile name. You can assign all fans to that profile by setting the curve you want at each temp (step) then click on each fan.. Now all fans will follow that curve and be part of that profile. Corsair Commander is not just a install plug everything in and it magically goes. You need to configure it.

Would be nice to the ability to scale the graph for setting fan speeds… all of my fans max out at 1000rpms, and using the sliders is kinda difficult. Or maybe a fan speed detector? Like ASUS has so the software knows the limits of each fan
