How to Fold & Hang Bath Towels Like a Spa

How to Fold & Hang Bath Towels Like a Spa

Have you ever noticed how elegant the towels
look in a spa or a hotel bathroom? Well I’m going to show you how you can get that look
for your bathroom on this week’s Home Staging Tidbit. The right towel display can really add to
that spa like feel in a bathroom, which is exactly what you want to do when you’re staging
your home to sell. So just how can you get that spa look? Well,
one trick is to use white towels. If you think back to the spas that you’ve been in, you’ll
probably remember they used white towels. So that’s one way you can get the look. The
other way is in how you display the towels in that how are they folded and how are they
hung? To fold a spa like bath towel, fold in half
and then fold in half again. Take one side and fold it into the middle and then do the
same for the other side. You’ll have a perfectly fluffy edge that gives a nice finished look
when stacked together. To fold a hand towel, fold in half and then
in half again. And then fold in half one last time. You will have a perfectly fluffy edge
yet again. To create well displayed hanging towels, fold
the bath towel in thirds lengthwise and drape over top the towel rod. Then create layers
with a hand towel folded in the same way, over top. And if you want to jazz it up a bit you can
tie a ribbon around the towel. Home stagers often use this trick to try to dissuade people
from using the towels. So there you have it. Get that spa like luxurious
feel in your bathroom with just a few simple folds. I hope you enjoyed this week’s Home Staging
Tidbit. Make sure to join me again next week for another episode of Tidbit Tuesday.

My Mother use to hang and display her towels so well. Most people that saw them commented on how nice they looked. When asked how she did it she would simply say. " Oh darling, it so easy" But Moma bear never showed anyone. Its wasn't a secret, she just couldn't be bothered with trivialities it's just a shame I didn't learn how. There's so many things like this that just go away when your mother dies. Generally heart breaking. When this type of thing comes up it brings such a thud. I'm a big ol Marine and I wish that my Mother who I adore through the veil of time were here this very moment. Didnt mean to be so long winded Meagen Very nice Video and you look spectacular!

I'm the house guest who sees the ribbon-tied towels as a little gift to open and use. Then I realize I probably shouldn't have done that, so I fold the towels all retarded, hang them on the rack, flush the ribbon down the toilet, come out of the bathroom and say the bathroom looked like that before I went in.

I came to this video in hopes it would solve my towel dilemma. It did not 🙁 But to be fair, I think its operator error, but I don't know how to correct the problem. When I fold the hanging towel into 3rds and then try to hang it, it sort of comes apart and is no longer even at the bottom and drives me freaking nuts.
