F-16 Maintenance, Hush House, Kunsan Air Base, Korea

rain or shine night or day the Jets at Kunsan Air Base are being tested hush houses provide a safe place for maintainer to troubleshoot complete engine runs and even train in addition to keeping the maintainer and jets dry the hush house gives them a more of a controlled working environment but they're able to hook up with several different s l's headsets in order to communicate throughout the whole run prevents people from coming in during operations for students going through training the experience is invaluable I come out of this class confident that if anything happens to this aircraft I'll know what to do nearly 2,000 maintenance Airmen received training at the Wolfpack every year to help keep the mission flying staff sergeant Ola Bay Prince on Air Base Korea

Spent many a night inside that building back in the day. Believe it or not, in 1990 we used to be able to tie the jet down on the outside trim pad and run it anytime day or night. I'm sure the farmers that live outside the fence weren't too happy about it.
