DIY | Holiday Decorations (Cute & Easy!!!)

hi guys the holidays are in full swing and I have gotten lost in a DIY winter wonderland I've been making lots of fun things for around our house and today I'm going to show you three of my favorite simple and inexpensive handmade holiday decorations I'm Brooke and I'm passionate about making beautiful things for my family on a budget first up are these cinnamon stick candles that smell amazing and all you need is a candle six inch or three inch cinnamon sticks and a hot glue gun so all we're going to do is attach the cinnamon sticks to the side of our candle with a hot glue gun and I'm using a six-inch candle just make sure you get cinnamon sticks that are the size of the candle you're using because they're actually really hard to cut alright the first one's on and now we're just going to continue this process around the rest of the candle yay we're all done and the cinnamon already smells so good now I use the vanilla candle and the vanilla and the cinnamon together will make your entire house smell amazing Oh smells like Christmas and you could also tie a ribbon around it and it makes a beautiful hostess gift next up is my absolute favorite these winter wonderlands and a glass base are not only beautiful but they're super easy to make all you're going to need is a glass hurricane or any glass container some decorations and some table salt first we're going to pour our salt into the container I'm using these hurricanes that I got at urban home because I love the size but any glass container will work we have a nice blanket of snow and now we're ready to build our scene you can use any kind of Christmas or winter decorations but I've chosen just some simple Christmas trees and mini pinecones I'm just gonna take them I'm gonna do the largest piece first set it down into the salt it'll go in really easily and now I'm going to arrange the smaller trees around our larger one living in LA this is probably the most snow will see all where I think these mini pine cones are adorable cute and we're done I love this one so much it literally took five minutes to make and it looks elegant on a mantel it also looks really beautiful to do it in all white and finally we have these adorable tin-can luminaries all you're going to need are three empty tin cans crop-a-dile or metal hole punch three votives and some spray paint so the first thing we're going to do is take our three empty cans outside and spray-paint them you're gonna place your cans upside down and grab your spray paint I've chosen gold I also tried to make some green ones don't ask and hold it about six to twelve inches away from the can and just spray paint the sides and now we're going to let them dry for about 15 minutes and then take them inside alright these cans already looks so pretty spray-painted gold and I'm going to write joy on them with one letter on each can you could also do a monogram or even draw a design and I'm going to make a guide with a pencil so that I know where to punch my holes you're just going to take your tin can and put the beginning of the pattern under the hole punch of the crop-a-dile and make first cut now we're just going to continue punching holes all along the pepper line and we're pretty much done our holes are punched out now we just need to add a votive to the bottom of each luminary let's light these babies up they look so beautiful and festive when you light them at night all right I hope this puts you in the mood for the holidays and that you'll give one of these a try we're so excited to be spending our first Christmas in our new house are you excited for Christmas tell me in the comments below what you like to do to decorate for the holidays thanks so much for watching and we'll see you next Friday bye juicy pie you
