Bright & Spacious Tiny House is Perfect for Working from Home! – Full Tour

hey everyone we're here in the 900 BC to visit with just from rewilding a of their newest model the Fox Sparrow tiny house it's a beautiful tiny house and it almost feels like it was designed for Matt and I or for anyone who's really into working from home or working online they have a nice space for working a nice space for relaxing and then a really gorgeous kitchen so let's go take a look inside so this is our 24 foot Foxboro model it's roughly 160 square feet it's underneath of all the legal Road limits so that you can tow it without any permits the weight it's roughly 12,000 pounds so the trailer itself is rated for 14,000 plenty of room for all of your appliances personal materials anything that you might add and weight it also gives you a little bit of wiggle room in case you do want to add solar so this house is 24 feet long which is about 23 feet on the inside once you subtract the framing in the insulation by about seven and a half feet wide on the inside eight and a half on the outside the ceiling space on the inside is about 11 feet tall 13 foot six measured from the bottom of the tires to the highest point of the roof to keep you under those road limits this one is on grid we designed this one to be a really plug-and-play so a lot of people come to us wanting something simple they can park in the backyard they can hook things up they don't want to have to deal with composting toilet or great water or anything like that it's quite open and bright inside we set this up for people who like to work from home and do entertaining so it's got to have multiple spaces even though when you're in a tiny house a lot of things kind of tend to blend together by putting a designated bar top area in here as a feature space I think that it really helps to make an office space a breakfast space at dinner space separate from your hangout space and also separate from your bedroom we did a hybrid of propane and electric so that you still do have a bit of self-sufficiency you're not putting too much of a strain on whoever's electricity you're using if you're parked on somebody else's property so our heat is a Dickinson marine propane heater these are super popular in tiny homes heats this place up like there's no tomorrow another nice thing about it is you do get to see a little bit of live flame which gives you that ambiance without having to have the full wood stove we do have furniture in here we have a nice little sitting area with storage built in underneath for all of your blankets and your pillows one of the most popular requests we get from people is I don't want a ladder and I want storage under the stairs so in this one we chose to leave the faces open sometimes we do put covers in front and either do drawers or actual curtains but in this case we were going for more of the open feels so we wanted to leave a bit more of the visual from the wall when you walk in instead of closing that off there's a curtain rod underneath appear for you to hang up your coats and we had imagined having all as well your shoes going in there we raised the fridge up on a platform so that not only do you have storage underneath for things such as canned goods other heavy items but also so that the small apartment sized fridge actually feels like a full-size fridge one of my favorite aspects of this house is the sink this is actually the same sink that I have in my house I've always been a really big fan of the black look not only does it look supercool but it stays clean way longer you ever tried keeping a stainless steel state clean you're always wiping down water spots this one just looks clean all the time so we have the extra-large sink extra-large range there's no need to sacrifice your cooking my second favorite part of this whole house is of course the live edge countertop this was built specifically for me to sit and do work I imagine this as an office space and I also really love eating my breakfasts outdoors but with a tiny house you don't always have deck space so we wanted to replicate that feeling of sitting outside on the deck and having your morning coffee without actually having to add the deck so both of these windows open wide open and let the breeze come in let the sunshine come in and you can really just feel like you're sitting outside enjoying your coffee part of having a big kitchen is having somewhere to put all of your stuff for me this things that are always found leaving out our appliances bigger appliances so we have a bunch of bigger style drawers and cupboards where you really have space to fit everything underneath of there a sliding door for the bathroom door great space saver sometimes we do pocket doors as well that fit in between but personally I'm a big fan of the exposed Hardware this bathroom is five feet wide which is actually big enough for a tub a lot of people complain that the bathrooms aren't big enough in tiny homes and they feel cramped and so small so we wanted to make it luxurious we actually offset this window slightly from Center so when you're sitting at the far end of the trailer on the couch you can see all the way through instead of it being blocked by the doorway we have a flush toilet installed in this model although it is also set up for a composting toilet so you could do either way the water heat in this unit is propane on-demand we use this beautiful little model from precision temp it vents through the floor which is extremely helpful for us when we're building homes the prior models that we were using vented out through the back wall so it had to always be placed somewhere that it wasn't going to put you over with this way this negates all of that we left a space here that fits combo washer/dryer unit it's from LG so you have your hot and cold water hookups here if we do to put the washer/dryer unit here there's also going to be a custom storage cabinet built so that you can keep all of your laundry materials and your towels your Linens the bathroom is equipped with a standard fan to control moisture and humidity so shower shower size is another big one you've seen a lot of tiny homes the little 36 by 36 standard fiberglass insert which personally when you're washing your hair and your elbows are hitting the sides of the glass you know it's not always the most enjoyable so we went for a full sized shower there's no glass right now we have custom glass that you need to get cut to fit underneath of the loft Heights standard glass shower inserts don't fit so we're on hold waiting for the glass doors but once they arrive this whole glass this whole corner will be glass along with the kitchen in the bathroom another priority for us was a big bedroom space a head room and a loft is something that people so really miss so by placing the skylight in this position we're able to gain a little bit of head space this way when you're making the bed you can move around a little bit more and it just feels a lot less claustrophobic we actually we have two skylights in this model we have one in the bedroom space and we have one in the living space this is also a much longer loft than you usually see this one is almost 10 feet long so there's plenty of room for a king-size bed one of the easiest ways to keep the heat circulating in your house and also to prevent any moisture build-up that you typically see in smaller homes is just by installing a high quality ceiling fan that's one of the light is also on a dimmer so it gives you the opportunity to have a little bit of mood lighting in here as well along with the master bedroom loft we also have a smaller to foot storage loft which gives you a ton of space for putting the things that you don't use as often all of the beams in the house are solid fir beams all hand stained and the hand sanded we meticulously work to inset LED lighting throughout the exterior of this home is custom milled and custom stained cedar siding it's all been weather treated and is good to go in all sorts of weather hope you enjoyed this video to see more tiny home tours you can click on this playlist right here don't forget to subscribe to our Channel right here like it, but the windows need to be double flashed, especially because of having no overhang on the roof, unless i just cant see it…

Thanks for another beautiful tiny home tour.
Seems that each new tiny home you show us is better and more thoughtful than the last.
I really like this one. They appear to have thought of everything. I could well imagine living in this one, and pulling it to a different RV park each month.

Looks great, it's basically a 1 bedroom apartment on wheels. How much does something like that cost? I feel including estimated price would be a good addition for your clips. The more I watch these videos, the more interested I am in getting one for myself, but finding somewhere to park it is probably more of an issue than the expense of buying it.

Every time I watch a tiny house video I love it, they are all beautiful but some of them are both professionally built and beautiful, this is one of them. I especially enjoyed the way the lady explained things. Imho, things like shower, bed size, work space/kitchen counter should not be compromised and I was happy to see all of these 3 were well thought out in this one.
