In summary, many the wasteful habits she mentioned have evolved from one thing…. credit. I am 71 years old; when I grew up if you could not afford it, you did not purchase it. Life was simple; but it did vary among families. Credit changed everything. If you only think you can afford something because you can squeeze in yet another payment, you are simply fooling yourself. Next week there will be another thing you can't afford, and then another. Face it, if you are only adding up the payments to see if you can purchase something, you are just admitting to yourself that you cannot actually afford it. This above all … to thine own self be true. Everyone is using you … against yourself! Wake up.

She failed to mention about creditrepair.com that it costs $99.95. Why did you not mention that, why did you hide it. You and others in video on youtube promote a something but leave out how much it costs. That is misleading.

but the house argument is kind of invalid because the condo fees of an apartment are crazy high and often don't cover all utilities. so often a bigger freehold house provides a better value.

and as far as being environmental is concerned, i won't unless it becomes cheaper to do so.

Not eating out except for special moments is the way to go. You learn a great skill and you save alot of money day to day. Though, you draw ire if you have friends or acquaintances who are chefs or work in the industry by not supporting local business.

Why don't American plug sockets have On/Off switches? Wasteful having Electrics on Standby all the time, if they're not unplugged.

Americans are spending more money to live further away from each other because they dislike everyone. They even dislike they’re own neighbors! Like everything is an issue for an American. Lol it’s funny. And it gets worse when you talk about baby boomers. Ugh.

The A/C thing I get but if you're living in the south west of the united states were it averages 110 – 120 degrees F you cannot live without A/C. I mean you can, but it's not pleasant.

Apple actually slowed down processors on iPhones with older batteries to prevent unexpected sudden shutdowns. One could argue this actually could make your phone last longer. They also thereafter offered a discounted battery replacement program, which has resulted in a lot of people hanging on to their iPhones longer. https://www.macrumors.com/roundup/iphone-slowdown/

Money spent is never “wasted” it’s only in someone else’s pocket! Let the dollar circulate! A “wasted” dollar is a dollar that sleeps on a bank account at 1%return a year
